Their Mission

In partnership with communities and public school districts, Spectrum Center Schools offers customized, evidence-based educational programs for non-traditional learners. Following satisfactory completion of instructional and therapeutic services at Spectrum Center Schools, they place a high priority on reintegrating children into the public school system.

Students with special education disabilities, aged 3 to 22, benefit from Spectrum Center’s effective and high-quality school services. They work with children who have mild-to-moderate and moderate-to-severe disorders, such as autism, social distress, speech and language disorder, other health issues, and particular developmental disabilities.

In the programs they offer, Spectrum Center has an obligation to assist their students in changing the course of their lives. They will track student progress, the fidelity and efficacy of their curriculum execution, and their desire to provide hope using data.

They assess the effect Spectrum Center has on families, partners, neighborhoods, and, most significantly, the lives of their students by starting with the underlying issue of whether they are fulfilling their contractual and social commitments.

Autism Programs

The autism services at Spectrum Center are led by tried-and-true research-based techniques, such as the principles of cognitive behaviour analysis (ABA).

The basis of Spectrum Center’s approach to educating children with autism and associated disorders is applied behaviour analysis, a science dedicated to the interpretation and advancement of human behavior.

This includes strategies for improving students’ communication and social skills, academic skills, adaptive living skills, and career skills; strategies for reducing problematic habits based on functional appraisal tests, teaching alternative appropriate behaviour, and teaching self-control strategies.

Behavioral Services and Emotional Disabilities

The classrooms at the Spectrum Center are built with the belief that all students will excel academically, behaviorally, and socially if their educational, mental, and behavioral needs are fulfilled in a safe and inclusive atmosphere.

Spectrum Center has academic classrooms for students moving toward a high school diploma or who are working to develop proficiency on grade level levels.

Students of mental and behavioral problems, as well as particular developmental difficulties, can be enrolled in the academic classroom.

Spectrum Center builds a supportive, respectful community that encourages social and academic achievement using evidence-based approaches.

Transitioning to Adulthood Programs

The Transfer Programs at Spectrum Center are designed to help students make a smooth transition from high school to adulthood.

Spectrum creates personalized transfer programs, transition schooling, and career preparation focused on each student’s desires, talents, independent living skills, personal preferences, and objectives in order to accomplish this aim.
