Pleasanton is a city in Alameda County, California, that is located in the United States. It is a suburb in the East Bay of the San Francisco Bay Area, located in the Amador Valley. At the time of the 2020 census, the population was 79,871. Pleasanton was named the wealthiest middle-sized city in the United States by the Census Bureau in 2005 and 2007. Safeway, Workday, Ellie Mae, Roche Molecular Diagnostics, Blackhawk Network Holdings, and Veeva Systems all have headquarters in Pleasanton. Kaiser Permanente, Oracle, and Macy’s are among the other major employers. Despite the fact that Oakland is the county seat, a few county offices are located in Pleasanton. Pleasanton is home to the Alameda County Fairgrounds, where the county fair is held during the last week of June and the first week of July.

Dr. Chen sees patients at two locations, Cooper Sports Performance in Dublin and the Saint Francis Memorial Hospital Center for Sports Medicine in Walnut Creek, California. He is a board-certified Pediatrician and Sports Medicine Doctor that specializes in the non-operative medical treatment of a wide variety of various musculoskeletal conditions. Dr. Chen graduated from St. George’s University School of Medicine and went on to complete Pediatric residency training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey (Rutgers), then went on to fellowship training in Sports Medicine at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, one of the perennially top-ranked children’s hospitals in the nation. There he provided sideline coverage for NCAA Division I athletics at the University of Cincinnati and Miami University (OH).
